i am a level 28 fire wizard and i have to defeat a guy to get the spell fire minion. and i got into the battle and the boss had 2000 and the other guy had 1000, it will not let my friend in with me i need some help and advice

You battle these alone for a reason... it is a school only quest.
Use your prism; that's what you have it for. Use your traps and blades, and those you should have trained at the Krokosphinx. Use your secondary school. Use treasure cards. And if you are so inclined, you can use henchmen.
Right. This is what I did... 1. Got a Ice Minion treasure card, and summoned it. 2. If you need more help, either have more minions, and save pips till you have enough to kill them without dying, or... 3. Kill the 1000 while trying not to die, if you survive, heal, kill the 2000, while trying not to die. Good luck!~

The reason your friend can't join you is because ports aren't allowed into dungeons for school quests. Its very annoying, but you can buy henchmen from the crown shop to assist you.
as your secondary school then BOOM, awesome!
