Why can't I grab the Oasis beetle?

I walk over the beetle located in the Oasis but it won't say I found it and direct me to Zeke to turn in the quest. When I walk over the beetle, it'll move signalling I found it but does nothing to the actual quest. Anyone know how to fix this?

The problem may be that there are two beetles in the Oasis. One by the library and the other behind a building on the opposite side of the Oasis.

There are not only 1, but 2 beetles in the oasis for Zeke's quest! I assume you've found one of them so there is indeed another.
