I've noticed that everyone who doesn't understand Prof.Wu's answer, keeps looking inside. When I finally understood the clue, the sphinx-like portal takes you to a place called the tomb of the storms. It is not in the temple as most of us thought it was. When you come out of the portal, go to the back side, there's your beetle.
