The Beetles Has a Glitch

I can't get the second Oasis beetle. I've logged off, teleported, set my location and everything but It won't let me finish that goal. Professor Greyrose, please help.

In a way, you answered your own question, young Wizard.

There are two separate beetles, one likes to shop and one likes to read.

You cannot collect the same beetle twice.
Look for the one you have not collected yet.
