You missed the most obvious place. When you first come out of the Sphinx portal, run around to the back. The beetle is there.

Hmm... if your talking about the one for the thing that teleports you to the Temple of Storms, it's behind it. :D

If your talking about the Tomb of Storms, it's in a corner.

The Storm Island one was the last one I got, too, because it was in such an obvious place that I didn't think to look there!
