Oh I guess I should clarify. I am aware of the Absorb spell, however the first two times (attempts) they took massive damage - I mean cyclops type damage - more than 500 HP of damage and the shields stayed.
I guess it was a glitch or something, the third time around the absorb shields dropped relatively 'easily' - relative to the first two attempts.
