Does Ra drop the Mote of Transport?

I've been trying to craft a storm whirlwind and I have been battle Ra, because he is the easiest big boss. I have probably battled him a million times and I still haven't gotten it. Please help.

According to the wiki, Ra does indeed drop the Mote of Transport.

According to experience, he's really stingy with it.

I've gotten one from doing the Daily Assignments, so that's another very long-term strategy you could try if you decide you've had enough Ra.
