"Lore you know" / History of Magic bugged for groups
When questing in a group (tested on group of 2), only one group member can click on the "lore you know"/"history of magic" books in Wizard city. I am running two characters in a group and was able to test on the last two fights.
- I've checked to make sure both characters have the option to click on the book. - I click on the book with one character without problems - The other character loses the option to click on the book. - Waiting 5 minutes, even leaving/entering the dungeon (while leaving 1 character in the dungeon and teleporting back in) doesn't work. - However - I did notice, at least in Gobblestone Castle, if you completely exit the instance (both characters) and go back in, you can run around the side without re-fighting the boss, and the book works.
This definitely happened in Gobblestone Castle and Sapphyra's tower (those are the two I noticed today) but I had noticed (but not texted) in at least one other last week.
I saw a post (but no response) on this as early as Jan 2021 so I assume others are experiencing it. Just wanted to post that it appears to work if you go back in (not sure if all bosses you could skirt the edge or if I'll need to fight some of them again).
I'm running some lower level characters - I don't remember this being a problem when I first played w101, so not sure when the bug happened.
