I have a $25 gift card and it won't let me buy $25

Like I said in the title, but I got a $50 one and it won't work on the $50 crowns in the buy crowns shop
So I did $25 and when I try to buy the $25 crowns again it won't work! please help.

There is a $1 authorization charge that doesn't take any money away but prevents you from getting $25. If you link the card to PayPal, it will work.

If it's a gift card, an official one from KI, then you don't use it as a normal credit card. More of, redeem code. Go to main page of wizard101, login, and on left hand side, under your account name, it is the sixth link "Redeem Card or Code."
