HELP TROUBLE WITH MOOSHU

ok so in mooshu on my death wizard when i was battling death oni and beat him i didnt get badge and in shiratki temple it wont let me use the lever to move the boulder,and so i cant do my zeke quest ubtil one of my higher level friends come on :(
