I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I'm not understanding how things are supposed to work, but I put a shadowblade and then cast Glowbug Squall, a spell requiring shadow magic and shadow pips, but it never uses the blade. It will use any other storm blades I put up but not the shadowblade. Could someone please tell me if I'm not doing something right or don't understand how it works, if this is not a bug? Thank you!

Blades are triggered based on the damage the spell deals, not the type of spell it is. This is why hydra will use elemental blades (even though it's a balance spell) and insane bolt will not use storm blades (it deals moon damage).
