Get Rid of Gift

I logged in to find two energy elixirs that were gifted to me somehow, but it won't allow me to accept them. how can i get rid of the gift icon?

You can only redeem those elixirs when your energy is less than full. Next time you completely deplete your energy, make sure to open your gift window and use that elixir.
