can't go anywhere past mooshu?

I killed everything required twice yet I still am unable to go to the next world. The message said I got the key yet it still wont let me, tell me I'm the only one with this trouble?

Oh I had trouble with this one. I forgot to talk to the guy on the platform after the battle with the Oni...so when my son got to go see the Headmaster I had to do the battle again.

So I would go see the Headmaster....first.
