Beetles Quest not working

I have walked over all three beetles in Kroktopia, but the beetle listed as "Second Beetle" will not update. Am I doing something wrong. All the previous Prospector Pete item retrieval items have worked properly, this one will not update at all.

For clarification, these are the three beetles in Oasis I am referring to.

there are more than three beetles in krok. and the only area i recall having two is the oasis.

if i recall correctly one is by the library (to the right as you face the library) and the other is behind one of the shops.
