Hello! I'm Shannon Unicornhorn, a level 70 Death wizard, and I have a big problem.
I've had my account since 2009, and have never had any issues with it at all or have had to use my Master Password to change the settings. Naturally, in ten years I've forgotten the Master Password.
I just got a new email and wanted to change the email settings of my account to it. When I go to the "my accounts" tab of the website to change it, I realize that I need my Master Password in order to unlock the settings.I click the "forgot password" button and the site says it's sent the recovery email, only then I realize that I'd registered this account when I was seven and had used my mom's archaic email because I didn't have one of my own.
My mom doesn't have that email anymore and, of course, has no idea what the password could be, not to mention that I'm pretty sure I spelled the email wrong.
There's no way to recover my Master Password. It's a Catch-22; I need to put my real email in to recover my forgotten Master Password but I need my Master Password to change my account to my real email.
