I can't interact with the weapons cache in Frostholm.
I see from posts that people were having trouble with this back in 2009 or earlier.
Is there a known fix? Why is this bug still around?

I just went through that quest and it worked okay for me. Sometimes on these quests where you have to interact with something (like the weapons cache), it's just a matter of walking around the item very closely until you find just the right spot and then the interactive "x" will appear.
If that doesn't work, then you might want to send an e-mail to help@kingsisle.com and ask them to help you get moving forward with this quest.
Be sure to give them your UserName in the game, and the name of the wizard who is having this problem. (Never give out your password.) Hope this helps.
