I have to disagree about Skabrok being too hard of a boss for level 55+. With the Storm spells you are given up to that level, you should be able to defeat him and his minion with no problem at all.
Next time when you battle him, I suggest crafting the level 56 Wintertusk gear or level up once and purchase level 58 Storm gear from the bazaar. For your spells, put in:
3-5 Storm Shields - to protect yourself against Skabrok's attacks
3-4 Storm Prisms - to convert to Myth because of Skabrock's resist
3-4 Stormblades & Storm Traps - to boost your attacks
2-3 Pixies - to heal yourself
1 Storm Lord - to take out both the boss and minion
1 Kraken - to take out the minion if he doesn't die
2-3 Tempests - for a backup, if you don't kill with Storm Lord or Triton
1Triton - to take out the boss in case Storm Lord doesn't
max Monstrous - these will boost your attacks with extra 175 damage
Henchmen are also available to you for crowns if you really need them. Hope I helped you out.
Thanks for the advice! But I still can't seem to beat him. It might be because I can't get the crafting recipes to craft that armor and I don't have enough money to buy new gear. Plus the bad luck I have and all the cards fizzle and my character will never block criticals.
But after much struggle and almost giving up, I got lucky and defeated two bosses in one go. I added more to the spells you suggested, like the rank 1 minion. Thanks!
