Kraken egg quest

I received this quest and it wouldn't let me cross the bridge to get in the area. Now I friended someone to get in and the gate is locked! Does anyone have any suggestions I don't have any other quest but it won't let me do anything. Help!!!

You might try using the quest finder to see if you missed a quest in the area that will help you unlock the bridge.
