Is it possible that you haven't completed the quest that unlocks certain areas? Keep in mind that while members can access every area in the game, they still need to unlock them through questing first. ;)

Areas are unlocked solely through the questline.

However, most areas unavailable to you can be accessed by teleporting to a friend that is in the area you're wanting to go.
