I don't know if this is a stupid question or not, it probably is but if you're for example Life, are you able to get Deer Knight or are you only able to get Life spells? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

The only way to get spells from another school is if they are the following.
Trainable
Craftable
Dropped from bosses/monsters
Deer Knight is both craftable and dropped from the Loremaster in Dragonspyre.
Non-trainable spells, such as the ones you get from your professor through the independent study quests, can only be learned by THAT school. Otherwise you would have to use Treasure Cards for a one time use. (Like unicorn or Nature’s Wrath.)
