I was wondering if there was some way to tell me where the key is because, I would like to unlock the labyrinth because, I'm a myth and I would like to have the orthrus spell. Thanks!

You must do the instance quests in the Grand Chasm Past.

This link shows the first quest, after you enter the instance:

And on that link, you can click on "Lead to..." quests at the bottom of the page.

After you defeat General FireTusk, Vasek gives you the key, and you return automatically to your quest "Forward...Into History".

And don't forget to pick up the Stone Rose while you are working on this quest. It is in the hallway when you enter the instance for The Grand Chasm Past. This link gives maps with details on how to find the stone roses:
