i already opened the hunted cave once and the colossus boulevard twice and the quest still tells me to get them, i really need a reply before i waste all of my crown thanks.

It would seem you are opening the Boss "extra chance" chests and not the Obsidian ones. The Obsidian ones do not cost crowns to collect.
