Re: Where is the best place to farm for astral shards?
Astral Shards are only available as drops from battles in Khrysalis and worlds beyond. In Khrysalis, I think it drops mostly in Crescent Beach and beyond (not in the first parts of the world). This link has a list of all the mobs and bosses that drop astral shards:
If you don't want to spend time grinding out a gazillion fights, the only other alternative is opening silver chests in Khrysalis or beyond, and hoping you get one as a prize. You might also get some Sunstones that way.
