Elucidates doesnt exist anymore?

I'm just wondering, but could you guys please explain to me what was wrong with the elucidate spell card and that you guys made it to be no longer existent in the game instead of making it training point trainable?

Simple, it would have broken PvP and made PvE far too easy and boring.
